A Special Session on Autonomous Systems for Inspection and Predictive Maintenance of Infrastructures is organized by the Autonomous Systems Initiative (ASI) at the 33rd European Signal Processing Conference in Isola delle Femmine – Palermo – Italy, from September 08 to September 12, 2025. Please refer to the main conference website for details about submissions.

The special session will cover a broad spectrum of topics related to the use of autonomous systems for the inspection and predictive maintenance of infrastructures.  The tentative list includes 7 papers that encompass a wide range of topics: Robotic Inspection Systems, Sensor Technologies, Machine Learning and AI for Predictive Maintenance, Data Fusion and Analysis, Cyber-Physical Systems, Case Studies and Applications. The submissions have been curated to include experts across the Autonomous Systems community with contributions from both academia and industry.  Geographic diversity has also been addressed.
